Ingredients & Equipment

  • 18g Freshly Ground Coffee (fine grind)
  • Flair Neo Espresso Maker
  • Tamper
  • Filtered Water – 60ml

Step-by-Step Guide

🔥 Preheat

  • Rinse the portafilter and group head with hot water to maintain temperature stability.

🛠 Grind & Tamp

  1. Grind 18g of coffee to a fine consistency (similar to table salt).
  2. Tamp the coffee evenly with 8kg of pressure to ensure proper extraction.

Brew Your Espresso

  1. Attach the portafilter to the Flair Neo.
  2. Add 60ml of hot water (up to the inner gridline).
  3. Pull the lever with a steady 8kg pressure for 25-30 seconds to extract 36-40ml of espresso.

🥤 Serve & Enjoy

  • Discard the used coffee puck.
  • Pour and enjoy your fresh espresso!

Pro Tips for a Perfect Shot

Adjust grind size – If the shot is too fast, grind finer; if too slow, grind coarser.
Ensure even tamping – Inconsistent pressure can cause uneven extraction.
