  • Heat water to 200°F (93°C).
  • If no thermometer, let boiled water sit for 30 seconds before using.

Grind Your Coffee Beans

🛠 Prepare the French Press

  • Place your French Press on a flat surface.
  • Add the ground coffee to the French Press chamber.

Brewing Your Coffee

Standard Method

1️⃣ Add Hot Water

  • Pour hot water over the coffee grounds, making sure to saturate all of them evenly. Pour about half of the water (around 100ml) to allow the coffee to bloom for about 30 seconds, then add the remaining water.

2️⃣ Stir

  • After pouring all the water, give the coffee a gentle stir with a spoon or stirrer to mix the grounds evenly.

3️⃣ Let it Brew

  • Place the lid on the French Press, ensuring the plunger is up.
  • Let the coffee steep for 4 minutes. Adjust the time if you prefer a stronger or milder brew.

4️⃣ Press

  • After 4 minutes, press the plunger down slowly and evenly, applying gentle pressure. The plunger should move smoothly without too much resistance.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Pour the freshly brewed coffee into your cup or mug and enjoy! ☕
