What You’ll Need:
- AeroPress (the star of the show!)
- Coffee Beans – 24g (freshly ground is best)
- Coffee Grinder (if using whole beans)
- Hot Water – 200ml (around 200°F or 93°C)
- Coffee Scoop (comes with your AeroPress)
- Stirrer (included with the AeroPress)
- Filter (paper or metal; AeroPress includes these)
- Cup or Mug (to enjoy your brew!)
Getting Ready
🔥 Boil Water
- Heat water to 200°F (93°C).
- If no thermometer, let boiled water sit for 30 seconds before using.
☕ Grind Your Coffee Beans
- Use 24g of coffee and grind it to a medium-fine consistency (similar to table salt).
🛠 Prepare the AeroPress
- Place a paper filter in the filter cap.
- Rinse with hot water to remove any paper taste and warm up the AeroPress.
- Attach the filter cap to the AeroPress and set it aside.
Brewing Your Coffee
Standard Method
1️⃣ Assemble: Place the AeroPress on your cup/mug and add the ground coffee into the chamber.
2️⃣ Add Water: Pour hot water up to the top of the number 4 mark (around 200ml or 6.7oz). Ensure all coffee grounds are wet.
3️⃣ Stir: Use the included stirrer to mix for about 10 seconds to evenly saturate the coffee.
4️⃣ Press: Insert the plunger and press gently and steadily for 20-30 seconds—don’t rush!
5️⃣ Serve: Remove the AeroPress and enjoy your freshly brewed coffee! ☕
