The journey began with World on a Plate (WOAP), where our founder pioneered a revolutionary approach to food and beverage consulting. WOAP became a powerhouse in the industry, bringing together an elite team of chefs, F&B executives, baristas, and mixologists—all working collaboratively to create brands, products, and marketing solutions under one roof. This dynamic structure remains unmatched in the industry, setting new standards in food and beverage innovation.
Building on this success, the founder rekindled his lifelong passion for coffee, driven by his relentless entrepreneurial spirit. He envisioned a brand that would provide a clean, performance-driven source of energy—fueling both body and mind in a sustainable and organic way. This vision led to the birth of Goldrush Coffee in California, a brand designed for high achievers seeking excellence in every sip. The first Goldrush location was launched in India, marking the beginning of a global journey—one that aims to redefine coffee culture across the world.
It all began in 2015 with a single sip of a cappuccino from Costa Coffee in Bangalore. That moment sparked a deep curiosity about coffee, leading to an exploration of different brews. The flat white, reminiscent of South Indian filter coffee, was the next revelation. But the true turning point came with black coffee—an eye-opening experience that revealed the pure essence of the bean.
The passion for coffee turned into a quest for knowledge. Traveling across eight coffee-producing countries, frequenting specialty cafés, and tasting some of the finest brews, the journey was about understanding flavor profiles and expanding the palate. Each cup told a story—of terroir, processing, and roasting techniques.
With years of travel, tasting, and exploration, the idea of building a coffee brand took shape. The first step was launching the WOAP Coffee Garage, a space dedicated to curating and showcasing the rarest coffees from around the world. This initiative was more than just a collection of beans—it was an effort to bring exceptional coffee experiences to a wider audience.
Through the connections made over years of travel, we began sourcing the finest coffee beans, selecting those that would best suit our clientele. This phase involved over 3,000 hours of research and testing, working closely with expert roasters to craft blends that do more than just taste exceptional—they enhance performance.
